Complexity of Relationship

Relationships are not fixed like lifeless statues.   Rather, they are organic, fluid, and moveable, able to change, existing like a conveyor belt on a continuum, constantly shifting and evolving.

We are either hated or loved, accepted or rejected, or we experience relationships at some point between these extremes.

Some people love us, and others hate us. Some accept us, and others reject us. Some simultaneously accept and reject us or love us and hate us. We will never have everyone hate or love us at any one point. We will never have everyone accept us or reject us.

Never think that you will be loved or accepted totally by everyone. It’s an impossible dream. Instead, sail towards the horizon of acceptance and love like a fisherman. But remember, the horizon is always elusive.

Amidst love and acceptance, there will be rejection and hate. Amidst rejection and hate, there will be love and acceptance. Do not imprison yourself in feelings of disappointment, frustration, and discouragement.

Amidst this conundrum, divine hope is key to freedom.
