Arrival is victory.
Victory is reward, not for the group, but for one.

Walking is slowness.
Slowness is awareness, awareness of the other.
Awareness of the other is attention.
Attention is concern, concern for the other.
Concern is care.
Care is compassion and mercy.
Compassion and mercy is stopping, stopping for the other.
Stopping is not future focused; it’s present focused.

Synod is intercourse – in between running
INTER (Latin) – BETWEEN and CURRERE (Latin) – RUN.
Synod is feeling the Spirit that draws us together.
Synod is courting the other.
Synod is inviting the other.
Synod is foreplay with the other.
Synod is intercourse, not jab, not a “quicky.” It’s slow. It’s deliberate. It’s mindful intercourse.
Synod is arousal. Arousal of emotions, thoughts and inspiration.
Synod is messy.
Synod is care. It’s compassion.
Synod is intercourse. It’s in between running.
Intercourse gives birth, birth to new life.
New life, New Gifts, New World.
