Gifts from my father

My father gifted me with . . .

. . . the discipline to order and organize,

. . . respect of time,

. . . the ability to reason and analyze,

. . . an interest in public affairs,

. . . perseverance in tasks,

. . . unbridled capacity to stay focused,

. . . the ability to work alone,

. . . the habit of rewarding waywardness with punishment,

. . . cautiousness.

. . . creativity and innovation.

My mother gifted me with. . .

. . . the art of social communication,

. . . teamwork,

. . . flexibility,

. . . being concerned for the neighbour,

. . . conviviality – warmth, hospitality, friendliness, cordiality,

. . . rewarding waywardness with love,

. . . solidarity,

. . . intuition,

. . . generosity of the heart,

. . . the ability to be jovial and light-hearted,

. . . risk-taking.

What a marvel of creation I am!

I am embodied with the wholesomeness of both Mom and Dad.
