Beware of persons who envision life as climbing a ladder,
a ladder towards individual fame, success, status, and honour.
They
manipulate
oppress
repress
suppress
abuse
malign
connive.
They build self-serving utilitarian relationships
using human shoulders as  rungs of ladders to reach the highest height,
driven slavishly by personal ego.
Like stealth planes, they go unrecognisable, 
invading territories of hearts and minds. 

Be aware of persons who perceive life as a journey,
a journey for the common good.
They
collaborate
serve
listen
dialogue
welcome
motivate
mobilise
risk.
They build communitarian relationships 
carrying everyone, 
stopping for the fallen,
encouraging the weak,
waiting for the slower sojourners, and
develop wise radars of the heart and mind 
to discern the covert operations of the ladder climbers.
